LARP Showcase

Check out our Faires and Festivals List for events this Fall

Fall is a wonderful time of year. The weather is cooler, kids are back in school, and by the end of the season, the yard signs and ads will be gone. Personally, I’m looking forward to the 2024 Spookville Haunt, “Nightmare on Cheshire Street”, where I’m building a fantastic Haunted Corn Maze.

In the Fall, LARPers not only return to LARPing after the summer break, many of us participate in Renaissance Faires and Festivals. This section of our newsletter highlights content that’s in our public pages intended for the entire LARP community rather than “how to’s” for our logistics tool. In this issue, we are showcasing Faires and Festivals which is found as a link at the top of our public page.

The Faires & Festivals directory includes hundreds of events throughout the country. The list allows you to filter events by location, date, and type, ensuring that you find the perfect event to suit your interests and schedule.

Fall events include Renaissance Faires, Celtic Highland Games, and even Pirate Festivals. In the midwest many events welcome 250K-500K visitors a year. In New England, King Richard’s Faire in MA sees over 175K, the Connecticut Renaissance Faire hosts 72K, and the Eastport Pirate Festival in Maine hosts 15K.

Events typically run for many weeks, making it convenient to plan a trip around your LARP schedule. If you don’t already have plans, check out the Fall events near you on our Faires and Festivals list. Then gather a group of LARPers and dress up for some great role playing at an event near you.

We are always searching for new content to add to our public pages, so please contact us and provide feedback if you have something to add or comment on current content. To add an event or update info on a Faire or Festival, submit a request.
